SAWIT SUMBERMAS SARANA - JAKARTA. PT Sawit Sumbermas Sarana Tbk (SSMS) held an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders (EGM) on Monday (10/22). One of the agenda is the appointment of new independent commissioners.
In the GMS, Sawit Sumbermas officially appointed the former Managing Director of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), Ito Warsito, to become an independent commissioner of the company.
For your information, Ito graduated from Harvard Business School in 1994 with a Master of Business Administration degree.
He has also held strategic positions in various investment companies before serving as president director of the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2009-2012 and 2012-2015. He is also a member of the Audit Board of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and a member of the National Management Board at the Indonesian Accountants Association (IAI).
